The partnership built between the school, the children who attend and their parents is an important element of creating a happy environment which helps children enjoy learning and exceed expectations. Grand Avenue Primary and Nursery school have therefore created a Home School Partnership agreement.

It is an expectation that all parents and children who attend Grand Avenue Primary School sign our Home School Partnership agreement upon starting their journey with us. This agreement is then reviewed again in Year 3.

Our Home School Partnership:

• Reminds us of the values and aims of the school.
• Acts as a clear starting point for new pupils and families joining our school.
• Makes it clear what is expected from children, the school and from parents.
• Encourages families and the school to work together to raise standards.
