Grand Avenue Primary and Nursery School offers a 52 place nursery run by qualified and experienced staff that foster the children’s interests, needs and stages of development and offer exciting activities which extend, enrich and develop potential both inside and outside the classroom.

We have both 15 hours and 30 hours nursery places available to children aged 3 – 4 years.

Our sessions run as follows:

15 Hour Provision

The Nursery session runs from Monday to Friday with 15 hours places offered as a morning slot from 8.30am – 11.30am or an afternoon slot from 12.20pm – 3.20pm. Both morning and afternoon children can also sign up to lunch club to enjoy a social lunch with their friends.

30 Hour Nursery Provision

The Nursery offers 30 hour places operating from 8.30am – 3.20pm. Children who access 30 hours provision can attend our Lunch Club or can be taken home for lunch at the end of the morning session and return at 12.20pm.

If you do not qualify for 30 hours provision you may pay for an extended session which is charged at £24 per day (ie. £8.00 per hour for a 3 hour session).

Lunch Club

Lunch Club provides an opportunity for the nursery children to enjoy a sociable lunch together. Lunch Club runs from 11.30pm – 12.20pm. Children attending either 15 hour or 30 hour provision are welcome to attend. Lunch club is charged at £5.50 per session.
