As of June 2021, Grand Avenue Primary and Nursery School continues to be a Good school. Ofsted Inspectors were complimentary of the inclusive nature of the school and the high expectations we have for all of our pupils.  

This is a Good school because:

• Pupils are enthusiastic in lessons and work hard, whether on their own or with their friends.
• Pupils feel safe here.
• Pupils are well behaved and are usually kind towards each other.
• Leaders want all pupils to achieve well. They have identified the knowledge they expect pupils to learn across the full range of subjects studied. Subject plans are typically well organised, which helps pupils to use their knowledge and learn more.
• Pupils enjoy visits that enrich the curriculum and provide them with new experiences and they like the range of clubs and activities that are on offer.
